There's key Scottish Premiership action on Saturday at BSSP Rugby Park as Kilmarnock host Rangers in a key game for both teams. Both sides recent form has been a little underwhelming, especially in the case of Killie, while the Gers are still learning the new tactical setup implemented by Danny Rohl. What will be our prediction for the match?
Coming into this game, Kilmarnock sit ninth in the current table with 12 points from their 15 games, but they are four points adrift of the team above them in the table and four above the bottom team in the table. Rangers currently lie in 4th with 23 points from their 14 games, they have a game in hand on Motherwell who are third in the table with the same number of points, but they are nine points behind both Hearts and Celtic.
Kilmarnock have not won any of their last eight league games, losing six of them in a row. That run included a 4-0 loss at Celtic and a 3-1 home defeat to Motherwell but they have drawn their last two games, a 1-1 home draw with Dundee United and then an impressive 1-1 draw away to leaders Hearts in midweek.
Rangers are unbeaten in their last five games which includes a 3-0 win at Dundee and a 2-1 home win over Livingston. They drew 1-1 with Braga in the Europa League before being held 0-0 at home by Falkirk last weekend and in midweek they earned a 2-2 draw away at Dundee United.

Our prediction for the Kilmarnock vs. Rangers Scottish Premiership match is: Rangers wins.
Both these sides have been drawing games more of late than winning them, and while for Kilmarnock, that has been the story for most of the season, it is also true of Rangers. However, Danny Rohl has started to see real improvements with his team since taking over at Ibrox but they need to start picking up more wins. Rangers have an outstanding record against Killie, which is why I've backed them to land a key win.
