Hull City returned to winning ways at the weekend with a win at Stoke City. They are *** in the Championship and look for a sixth home league win of the season when they host second-placed Middlesbrough. Read our match prediction below.
The win at Stoke was a much-needed one after the Tigers had lost their last two league fixtures. A third loss looked likely but they came from behind and won the game with a 90th minute winner. They are now only a point behind the promotion play-off positions.
Four of their last five games have seen both teams score. City have won five home league games this season with two defeats. Both teams have been on target in three of their last four home league fixtures.
Middlesbrough also returned to winning ways at the weekend. They beat Derby County 2-1 at home to end a run of two games without a win. Boro were a goal down going into the 75th minute but recovered well.
They are in the second and final automatic promotion spot but ten points behind leaders Coventry City. Boro have won three of their nine away league games this season. Their last five league games have seen both teams score and we go for that stat to come up here.

Middlesbrough are second in the Championship but have gone three away league games without a victory. They won at home on Saturday to keep their place in the automatic promotion places.
Hull City ended a poor run with a good come-from-behind win at Stoke City. They are strong at home with five league wins this season but regularly score and concede. They have scored 30 league goals but conceded the same number. Our Hull v Middlesbrough prediction is both teams to score.
