Matchday 15 is upon us in the English Premier League with 10th-place Everton hosting 16th-placed Nottingham Forest at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. This is sure to be a tight contest between two teams in good form. Check out our match prediction below!
Everton will look to keep the good times coming after recently breaking into the top half of the table. With 21 points, the Toffees only find themselves three points behind the top four. Another victory here would be a big statement of intent for Everton and their aspirations of securing European football for the 2026-27 season.
Nottingham Forest, meanwhile, will be aiming to continue their revival. The Tricky Trees have bursted out of the relegation zone, in large part thanks to the job done by manager Sean Dyche. Forest now have a four-point gap between themselves and 18th-place West Ham, while the visitors trail their opponents today by six points. The away team has won in this matchup in three of the last four between these clubs. Will that be the case again on Saturday?

After a disappointing 4-1 home defeat at the hands of Newcastle, the Toffees responded in fantastic fashion during their midweek match. A Jack Grealish goal in the 78th minute secured a 1-0 away victory for Everton and they were certainly good value for the three points.
Everton racked up 1.44 xG and three clear cut chances in the match. They managed nine shots in the opposition box and even hit the woodwork twice.
They come into this game having won three of their last four, with each of those wins being accompanied by clean sheets.
Nottingham Forest have been enjoying life with Sean Dyche at the helm.
Since taking over in October, the former Burnley and Everton gaffer has racked up five wins, two draws and two defeats in his nine matches across all competitions.
The result is three wins from their last four in the Premier League and four wins from their last five overall.
One of those victories was a famous 3-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield. In their last appearance, Nottingham Forest managed to walk away with all three points thanks to a second half Igor Jesus goal to win 1-0 away against relegation favourites Wolves.

David Moyes will have to deal with a number of missing players for this fixture. Michael Keane, Seamus Coleman, Merlin Rohl and Jarrad Branthwaite are all expected to miss out due to injury. Additionally, Idrissa Gana Gueye continues to serve his suspension following his red card against Manchester United, while Tim Iroegbunam is also suspended.
Forest will have to shut down Everton’s exciting wing duo of Grealish and Ndiaye if they are to pull off an upset here.
Jack Grealish has been one of the top-performing players in the entire Premier League.
Grealish is tied for the second most assists in the Premier League at 4, ranks second in expected assists (3.0) and fifth in chances created (26).
Nottingham Forest are dealing with something of an injury crisis with no fewer than eight players potentially missing out here. Among them are some key pieces, including defender Murillo, midfielder Douglas Luiz, striker Chris Wood and fullback Ola Aina.
On the bright side, Forest fans finally got to see their summer signing Igor Jesus open his Premier League account in the 1-0 win over Wolves. While he had managed to net five goals in the other competitions, it took the Brazilian 13 appearances to get off the mark in the league.

Matches between these two teams have historically been tight dating back to Nottingham Forest’s promotion from the Championship in 2022. It’s tough to call a winner in this match as both clubs come into Saturday’s match on a good run.
Instead, we’re going to focus on the goals market, with the expectation that both defenses will be able to keep up the high level of play. Both sides have managed clean sheets in three of their last four, which could result in another low-scoring match. Our Everton vs Nottingham Forest prediction: less than 2.5 goals.
Draw
The visitors probably have enough about them to avoid defeat here thanks to their strong run of form. However, there are sure to be some tired legs in the team as Forest tries to balance a jam-packed schedule. Backing the draw looks to have value in what should be a match with little to separate the two sides.
