Barcelona are 16th in the league phase of this competition. They aim to get their second win when hosting Olympiacos who are down in 29th place after two games. Can Barca get a home win? Read our match prediction below.
The La Liga giants have made a strong start to their domestic season. At the time of writing this preview they are top of the table but will be toppled if Real Madrid win on Sunday evening. In the Champions League, Barca have earned three points from two games.
Olympiacos are two points behind their opponents. They are only a point behind the qualifying positions but come into this match yet to score a goal in this league phase. As you'll read in the form section of this preview, it's been a disappointing campaign for them so far. Going to Barcelona and coming away with anything but a defeat is going to be hard work for the Greek champions.

Barcelona began their Champions League campaign with a 2-1 away win at English Premier League side Newcastle United. A second win did not follow though as they were beaten 2-1 at home by defending champions PSG.
That was Barca's first home loss in the Champions League since 2021-22 when being beaten by Bayern Munich.
In La Liga this season, Barcelona have won seven of their nine games, the only loss being a 4-1 defeat at Sevilla earlier this month. Home form has seen them win all four games by an aggregate score of 13-2, scoring at least twice in each game.
Olympiacos are without a win or a goal so far.
Olympiacos have just one point from their first two fixtures in this league phase. The Greek champions would have been disappointed with being held to a home goalless draw against Pafos. Then they were beaten 2-0 at Arsenal.
They top the Greek Super League but have only won one of their three away games.

Barcelona certainly won't want to begin the league phase by not winning their first two home games. This is a far more winnable fixture than their opening home game against PSG that ended in a 2-1 defeat.
Lewandowski will miss this game.
They will have to play this game without Robert Lewandowski. His hamstring injury is expected to keep him out of the team for a month or so. Raphinha is also likely to miss this match and Dani Olmo is also not due to be back until November.
Barca have a minor doubt over the fitness of Ferran Torres. He didn't play at the weekend against Girona after pulling out of Spain's squad. The hope is that he'll be fit to play and that's not going to be good news for the visitors as he's been in good scoring form this season.
The La Liga has a strong squad though and should still have too much for Olympiacos.

Barcelona need to bounce back from their home loss to PSG in their last Champions League game. They had got their campaign off to a good start with a 2-1 win away at Newcastle United. All is going well at home in La Liga and they will be confident of earning three points.
The Greek champions are without a win from their first two games in this league phase and no goals scored. They face an uphill battle here. Our main Barcelona v Olympiacos prediction is Barcelona to win and lead at half and full time.
Marcus Rashford to score a goal
